A Message From The Preschool

As our heavenly Father loves us, we will be celebrating our earthly dads with Donuts for Dads on Tuesday-Friday, March 10-13. Dads are A-Glazing!

The 28th Annual Pasta for a Purpose (aka Pie Supper) is Thursday, April 16th from 5:00-7:00 PM. We are hosting a spaghetti dinner and the best desserts in town. We will be having a silent auction with items and themed baskets and a live auction with the most amazing desserts made by our very own Abiding Savior parents, teachers, and congregational members. The funds raised this year will go towards playground needs and preschool curriculum needs. A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to the Bread of the Mighty Food Bank. Your purchases may be paid for by cash, check, or credit card. Please note that if you pay by credit card there will be a 3.75% convenience fee added to your total purchase. We hope to see you there!

We have 163 children enrolled for the 2026-2027 school year with spots still available. Please tell others about our fantastic faith-based learning environment for young children.

Creation Crossroads Summer Camp 2026 registration has opened. This summer (June 8-July 31), we’re embarking on a journey through the wonders of God’s world. Each week, our campers will dive into a new day of creation and a timeless Bible story, all while enjoying a perfect mix of playful discovery and school-readiness activities designed specifically for their growing minds.

We are deeply grateful for your continued prayers and support, which sustain the students, staff, and families of Abiding Savior Lutheran Preschool.

His love endures,

Brenda Arden

Preschool Director

Set Apart to Serve – 2026 Congregation Survey

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Where do we receive the pastors who faithfully preach and administer the Sacraments?

Where do we find the teachers who teach our children about Jesus in our Lutheran schools?

Where do directors of Christian education, deaconesses, and parish musicians come from?

Through Set Apart to Serve (SAS), the The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod is working to build a strong culture of church work formation and recruitment across our congregations, schools, districts, seminaries, and Concordia universities. This Synodwide initiative seeks to raise up faithful pastors and commissioned church workers for generations to come.

You are invited to take part in this important effort by completing a brief online survey:

 Take the survey here:

Your responses will help shape how SAS can better serve congregations like ours. The more input received, the better equipped we will be as a Synod in our life together to encourage and support church work vocations.

Please submit your response by March 31. All responses are anonymous and confidential.

As our Lord reminds us:

“Pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” (Matthew 9:38)

Thank you for taking a few moments to support this vital mission of the Church.

Prayers of the church

A Brief Note from Pastor Glover:

"If you are in need of counseling services, please know that you can always reach out to me. Additionally, we have a member of Abiding Savior that is a licensed counselor and is available to provide Christian counseling services for grief, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life coaching. If you would like for me to connect you, please let me know."
