How You Can Help
School Supply Wish List
Do you have any items that are no longer of use to you that you would be willing to donate to the school? We are always looking for items (working, and in good condition) such as:
- craft items (paper, sequins, yarn, ribbon, buttons, foam trays, etc.)
- safe toys/play items for the Preschool
- books for our library
- Cricut cartridges
- playground toys
- teaching aids
- ...and much more
Please contact the school if you think you have something we can use.
Donations of Time and Talent
Do you have a skill and some spare time, or just spare time? We need volunteers throughout the year to help with special needs ranging from substitute teaching to project preparation such as cutting or sorting, playground maintenance and also guest speakers to give presentations about a profession, service or skill. Our Parent Teacher Organization is very active and does amazing things to make the teachers feel appreciated and to help our school. Every family is automatically a member.
Monetary Donations
Abiding Savior Lutheran Preschool is a not-for-profit organization. It is not publicly funded and we welcome any help and support that you and our community can offer. If you wish to contribute a monetary donation please contact our school office at 352-331-7770.
Box Tops for Education
Simply clip the Box Top logos from participating General Mills & Pillsbury products and bring them to the boxes in the school hallways. Our school receives 10 cents for every Box Top collected.
SCRIP
Abiding Savior Preschool participates in SCRIP, a gift card fundraiser. The proceeds go towards refurbishing the playgrounds, updating our library, and purchasing classroom supplies. How does it work? You purchase gift cards from the selection provided by the Great Lake Scrip Center (www.glscrip.com). We're sure you'll find your favorite stores, gas stations and restaurants on the list! You receive the full value of your gift card and Abiding Savior Preschool receives a percentage of your purchase! Wow! It's that easy and convenient! Order forms are in the preschool classrooms and office and also in the Narthex. Orders will be placed the first week of each month.
